More details about the proposal from www.lincsbombercommandmemorial.com
We ended up with 27 stalls in the Village Hall, with 17 donated raffle prizes. A big thank you goes to everyone involved. Lots of people present saw it a fantastic opportunity to meet new members and potential customers, and to catch up with others in the village.
It also gave us the chance to display the new Bracebridge Heath Business Network banners- go to our business page to see them in more detail.
Bracebridge Heath in Bloom
Congratulations go to everyone involved in Bracebridge Heath in Bloom. The awards ceremony was held on September 11th in Skegness, and the representatives of this village were surprised and delighted to recieve a Bronze Award, and a Special Judges Award. As first-time entrants, and the only representatives of this area in the entire competition, we are incredibly proud of this achievement.
The award goes to the team led by Karen Thomson for their work in planting and tidying across the last year, but also for anyone involved with clearing the woodland, picking up litter or any of the other activities which have been going on. We were especially praised by the judges for our community involvement, and this includes the 2012 Scarecrow Trail, Carol Singing, the may Festival and much more. Thanks go to anyone who has been involved in any of this.
